I'm David Hatton, a man who is passionate about the English language!
I'm also a seasoned veteran of the classroom, having taught from nursery to year 8 in Kent and Lancashire.
Having witnessed the latest changes to the Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG, or GPS) curriculum, I have been supporting primary staff in the subject knowledge required to teach the advanced grammar now expected of our KS2 pupils.
